2011 NZU Representative Crews Announced

The 2011 New Zealand Universities representative crews to compete against Australia in the annual Trans Tasman Test Series have been selected.

The 3 race test series will be held during July in Adelaide, Australia.

New Zealand Win Bronze at World University Rowing Championships

University of Canterbury students Andrew O'Connor and Armin Svoboda have overcome challenging conditions to win bronze in the men's lightweight double scull at the World Universities Rowing Championships in Szeged, Hungry.

Glen Sinclair has lifted the profile of Otago rowing over the past decade and will now be able to make an impact on the national scene.

Rowers Win Gold And Bronze At World Uni Champs

Otago Uni student Nathan Cohen has won gold in the single sculls at World Uni Champs.

Nathan Cohen has become the first New Zealander to win a gold medal in a World University Championship (there are 28 world university championship sports including rowing).
